UFC 206 Max Holloway vs. Anthony Pettis / UFC Albany / Final Fantasy XV: Bro or No?

Broest Bros You Knows Ep. 46

#UFC206 is here and the Bros are ready to breakdown the fights. Viet “The Brotorious” is joined by “BC” Bridges and Matt “Two Stripe” for another fun episode of BBYK. In the main event we have Daniel Cormier vs… Conor McGregor? The narrative is that Cormier took his belt right? The Bros discuss the bizarre decision by the UFC brass to strip McGregor of his featherweight belt and how ridiculous all of the different interim belts have become. Are we not entertained?

By number one contender fights that is. Max Holloway is a special talent and his potentially earning a shot at Jose Aldo by beating the former LW champ is good enough, right? The Bros break down this high octane main event bout between Max Holloway and Anthony Pettis. Will Pettis be another notch in the streaking Hawaiian’s belt, or will the main event in Toronto be go time for Showtime. A make or break for the UFC’s equivalent of the human highlight reel (Dominique Wilkins for the NBA illiterate), you are going to want to tune in for this one!

The co-main event we have fan favorite Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone vs. Matt “The Immortal” Brown. Brown has accused Cerrone of not being “honorable,” and seeks to make Cowboy honor his skills when these two welterweights step in the cage.  Cowboy on the other hand just continues to channel his Clint Eastwood meets Johnny Knoxville. Both fighters are as tough as they come, and the winner here can make a great argument for being on the welterweight title-shot short list.

In what could be the fight of the night, we have long time veteran Cub Swanson vs. the new up-and-coming Asian Sensation, Do Ho Choi. This will be Choi’s toughest test to date, how will the young knock-out artist fare against the tough and grizzled Swanson. We have seen a more patient Swanson in his last two fights, and he is looking to derail the hype train early and put his name back in the title-contention mix.

Choi has been equally impressive, albeit against lesser competition. Regardless, the kid has looked phenomenal, combining top level striking accuracy with elite power. It becomes even scarier because Choi looks like he would be more well-suited to dominate Overwatch or League of Legends. We are #hypedaf for this fight, so you bros better tune in!

How do you guys think the fight will go? Tell us in the comments below or tweet @BroestBros. We will be live tweeting the event so tag us for the most insightful hot takes this side of Kenny Florian. On our site, we are celebrating a BBYK #ChristmasCountdown with new content out each day until CHRISTMAS! Matt “Two Stripe” gives some quick thoughts on Final Fantasy XV, and will have a more in-depth review on the site, so tune in for that. Is it the best Final Fantasy ever?
