UFC 220 & Bellator 192 Breakdown / Miocic vs. Ngannou / MMA Lessons from Dragon Ball Z

The Bros talk about UFC 220 and Bellator 192. In Bellator we have an awesome welterweight title bout between Rory MacDonald and Douglas Lima. And then we have the fight we were all looking forward to (in 2008), the first match of the Bellator HW Grand Prix between Chael Sonnen and Rampage Jackson.

Next the bros get into the co-main events of UFC 220. They start with a breakdown of Daniel Cormier and Volkan Oezdemir for the LHW belt. DC is still the champ, under less than ideal circumstances. Oezdemir has roared onto the scene as potentially that next guy in a division long dominated by Jon Jones and the current champ. Will DC show he is still on another level? How many fights does he have left? Will he retire if he loses? Better listen if you want to find out.

Finally the bros get to the match all fight fans are waiting for. If you watch one fight in during a weekend full of fights, it NEEDS to be this one. The battle for the title of the Baddest Man On The Planet! Stipe Miocic looks to retain his belt against one of the scariest prospects the division has ever seen, Francis Ngannou. The Cameroonian expat is 6 feet 4 inches of muscle and skill. A non-sucky Cheick Kongo. He has captured the public’s imagination with his raw power and polite demeanor.

Many experts would agree that this fight will be won by the Predator. Not so fast fight fans. Don’t sleep on the Champ! One of the most well-rounded fighters the division has ever had, Miocic’s strength lies in his ability to take this fight to different places, possibly making things difficult and uncomfortable for Francis. Will Power and Precision Prevail, or will the skills pay the bills?
