Are you ready for a fight card every weekend throughout the rest of the year? That’s right, the UFC has made all of your remaining 2018 Saturday plans for you, with this weekend’s plan being watching a UFC Fight Night event in Argentina.
The main card kicks off at 10:00pm eastern on Fox Sports 1, while the prelims start at 8:00pm, also on FS1. The early prelims kick things off at 7:00pm on UFC Fight Pass.
I use DraftKings for my UFC daily fantasy fix, so if you don’t have an account you can sign up here (and get a 50% bonus on your initial deposit). Also, you can check out the scoring criteria here.
Now let’s get down to business.
- Darrin Elkins ($7,500) has made a career of going to war and more often than not coming out on top. Ricardo Lamas has the ability to put someone away quickly, but Elkins doesn’t get put away quickly and just keeps fighting. Win or lose, at that price you want him in your lineup.
- Ian Heinisch ($7,800) has good wrestling and bricks for fists. His opponent, Cezar Ferreira, has a glass chin. Do the math.
- Poliana Botelho ($8,300) has had an impressive UFC run so far, and her athleticism alone will take her far. However, Cynthia Calvillo is a huge step-up in competition for her, and possesses the skill set to neutralize Botehlo’s strength.
- Nad Narimani ($9,100) gets a late replacement opponent to open up the card. However, the match-up style lends me to believe that Narimani will most likely take his opponent to the ground and grind out the win. DFS points are possible, but I’m not taking it at that price tag.
