UFC 236 welcomes you to the real ESPN+ era, as it is the first PPV fight to exclusively be available on the streaming platform. The card is rather weak for a PPV, but Max Holloway vs. Dustin Poirier promises all kinds of violence.
I use DraftKings for my UFC daily fantasy fix, so if you don’t have an account you can sign up here (and get a 50% bonus on your initial deposit). Also, you can check out the scoring criteria here. Now let’s get down to business.
- Curtis Millender ($7,700) vs. Belal Muhammad should be fun. But Millender’s length and ability to fight effectively from range should win him the day here.
- Ovince St. Preux ($8,000) has already fought Nikita Krylov, and finished him with his patented “von Preux” choke. Krylov is kind of an idiot, as far as fight IQ goes, and there’s no reason to think that it will be much different this time around.
- Poliana Botelho ($8,900) has been in the above section a few times, but her power punching will catch up to her here. Lauren Mueller is a legitimate prospect, and one who should be able to thwart Botelho’s one-note game.
- Alexandre Pantoja ($8,800) is solid, but runs into problems when fighting off of his back. Unfortunately for him, that’s just where Wilson Reis is looking to put him.
