The UFC remembers the Alamo this weekend as they host a card in San Antonio, TX. Nothing on the card really makes you write home, but it’s pretty solid from top to bottom.
I use DraftKings for my UFC daily fantasy fix, so if you don’t have an account you can sign up here (and get a 50% bonus on your initial deposit). Also, you can check out the scoring criteria here. Now let’s get down to business.
Value Picks
- Sam Alvey ($7,600) is always a tough guy to roster in DFS – either he KOs his opponent or he gets you single digit points. Luckily, his matchup is extremely favorable this weekend, as his opponent has shown unchecked aggression and little else. That should present Smilin’ Sam with all the counterpunching opportunity he needs.
- Juan Adams ($8,100) actually knows how to fight, unlike his opponent, Greg Hardy. The pricing here just does not make sense to me.
Avoid
- Greg Hardy ($8,100) costs the same as his opponent, Juan Adams. However, Adams is just as impressive of a physical specimen as Hardy, but, as mentioned above, actually knows how to fight.
- Alex Caceres ($8,800) is undoubtably talented, he just doesn’t know how to use that talent effectively. His tendency to turn what should be one-sided matchups into close decision victories just doesn’t bode well for DFS.
