Before we get to next weekend’s epic card, we need to get through the light heavyweight fest that is UFC Stockholm. There’s a joke in there somewhere…
I use DraftKings for my UFC daily fantasy fix, so if you don’t have an account you can sign up here (and get a 50% bonus on your initial deposit). Also, you can check out the scoring criteria here. Now let’s get down to business.
Value Picks
- Jimi Manuwa ($7,300) is on a losing streak and taking on a surging young prospect in Aleksander Rakic. However, despite his UFC wins, it’s still hard to peg exactly how good the Austrian actually is. His defense doesn’t seem to be stellar however, so I’m going to bank on Manuwa’s veteran craft winning the day here, especially at that cheap price.
- Danillo Belluardo ($7,700) is making his UFC debut this weekend against Joel Alverez, who probably shouldn’t even be on the roster. Belluardo it is – and as he is the first fight on the card you can get the evening started off on the right foot.
Avoid
- Leonardo Santos ($9,200) has not fought since 2016. He had been on a good run, and has several quality wins under his belt, but it’s hard to budget that much cap space to someone that we haven’t seen in 2 1/2 years.
- Tonya Evinger ($9,000) just does not have the fighting style to justify that kind of price tag. Use that cap space for some more upside.
